College Catalyst
since 2023School of Public Affairs
As a faculty member in the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University, I embrace Principled Innovation (PI) as a pathway to cultivating ethical leadership, integrity, and collaborative problem-solving in our students. My dedication to fostering inclusivity and advancing societal well-being drives me to integrate PI into my teaching, research, and community engagement efforts. As a PI College Catalyst, I actively introduce others to PI and serve as a resource for colleagues incorporating PI into their own work. Even before engaging with PI, my research emphasized the importance of values-driven decision-making in the public sector, considering how we balance competing interests. I see PI as a tool for empowering both students and colleagues to navigate challenges with creativity, empathy, and a commitment to ethical action, ultimately advancing positive change within our communities.
