Principled Innovation has always been central to my personal values and goals—fostering connections and contributing to the betterment of our communities. PI has provided a framework to articulate and act on these passions in education, and I’m encouraged that ASU is prioritizing conversations that tackle the “hard stuff.”
When Ted Cross introduced me to the idea of universities holding the responsibility of providing “not just good jobs, but good lives,” it brought me back to my time working with underprivileged multicultural students in primary education, where I witnessed a multitude of backgrounds, struggles, and values sets. I see those students in the next generation at ASU, using PI to turn their innovative projects into action and create real change—not just on this campus, but in the world.
Now, working in the Business Operations of Principled Innovation, I have the unique opportunity to witness the people behind ASU’s transformative programs. Seeing their passion firsthand inspires me, and I look forward to watching them in action as ASU continues to evolve, fostering innovative leaders dedicated to the betterment of our communities.
